Interested participants will have a tool kit if they enrol for the eight sessions, which is required for class attendance and mandatory for participants. And if you already have this kit from your past chef in training sessions, there will be a refund of SGD200 that will be given to you.

And inside the equipment, things included are an apron, personalised chef’s jacket, a paring and chef knife, towel and a reusable bag. And for those participants who wish to take individual sessions, there will have an SGD195 fee per session per participant. And a price of SGD1,500 for all eight sessions per participant who will take the entire module.

As interested participants, you have choices if you want to take individual or the entire sessions, but it is best to take the whole module. There’s a designated one continuous intake for the module and not a different intake from different sessions to make up all eight sessions. And if you aren’t able to come to the time for your cooking class, there will be no makeup classes to fill in what you missed.

It is suggested that you take or sign up for individual sessions if you are unsure if you can attend all eight sessions. In addition, the eight modules include the following:

  1. Module 1 includes Knife skills and vegetable cuts, where you will learn on what is the different knifes used, where it is the appropriate type of food it is used, and how it is used especially for meats, fish and vegetables and another is the vegetables cuts where you will learn on how to cut correctly and appropriately the different types of vegetables for designs and taste purposes.
  2. Module 2 includes Salad and dressings. What is taught here is the different ways of making salad and the specialty of Singaporean salad, the ingredients used and how to do the dressing.
  3. Module 3 includes the chicken. Different ways to cut the chicken and also the dishes you can make out of it based on its specific parts.
  4. Module 4 include the Chicken Marinating techniques. Taught the ways on how to properly marinate the chicken, the ingredients used in marinating, how many hours or minutes must it be.
  5. Module 5 includes the beef. Just like the Chicken, this is about the different dishes you can make with beef.
  6. Module 6 includes fish. It taught the different dishes you can create using fish or fish meat.
  7. Module 7 includes the fish and seafood. It taught how the seafood must prepare, the different dishes for you can make from it.
  8. Module 8 includes fresh pasta and sauces. This taught about the ingredients used in making different sauces to balance and partner with the meat of pasta, how pasta is made, the different ways of cooking pasta-based from culture to culture.

Meanwhile, the Singapore cooking school can refund any payment minus the discount (if it is applicable)  if and only if a scheduled session does not reach a minimum number of required for the session because of an unlikely event of exceptional circumstances that are unforeseen the Singapore cooking school gives a right to change to cancel the session or change the date of the session and the calculation of final fee is subjected to the discretion of the Singapore cooking school.

The sessions’ availability doesn’t guarantee a few things in the Singapore cooking school, such as whether it is advertised on the website and other means, or for children or adults until the confirmation of the booking, or where it is applicable, or if the session is required is reached.
