For three hours, you can learn three tasty recipes and tips on how to make delicious Eurasian cooking meals at home. 

Beef Rendang Beef brisket is a fragrant, deep seasoned coconut paste. It a rich and pungent coconut dry curry that originates from Indonesia. 

Prawn Sambal Bostador – This recipe uses green chilli coconut sambal together with prawns. This is a mouth-watering Eurasian recipe where we cook prawns in a spicy chilli paste.  

Chap Chye – This dish uses wood ear mushroom, prawns, tang hoon, dried soybean skin, and dried shrimps. This is a vegetable stir-fry famous in all Chinese households. It is tender-crisp, multi-coloured, along with a mix of veggies of various flavours and textures. 

Class 2: Explore Eurasian Cuisine – Cincaru Fish, Pot Roast Beef Steak, Ambala, and Curry Feng (3 Hours)

Ambala – Beef together with Long Beans

Eurasians have long used this flavorful paste in preparing seafood, beef, lamb, or chicken. This is a traditional dish influenced by the Dutch and Portuguese communities in Malaysia or Malacca.  

Curry Feng – Old-style mild curry prepared with superbly diced pork heart, liver, and pork.

Feng Currey is a culinary tradition in Malaysia and Singapore. We traditionally served the food during Christmas and at other special events. 

Pot Roast Beef Steak 

This is another tasty Eurasian recipe you should try.

Debal Curry – Chicken curry cooked with Cabbage, Potato, and Carrots

A Malaysian dish of chicken curry with vinegar; a special dish made famous by the Portuguese Eurasian in Malaysia. 

Sambal Belacan with Calamansi – Freshly crumbled chilli padi and grilled belacan with calamansi juice.

The Malaysian version of Sambal uses Malaysian shrimp paste, chillies, calamansi lime, sugar, and salt. 

Prawn Sambal Belimbing

This spicy dish is perfect for a crowd-pleaser at your next party, and it’s easy to prepare.

Sambal Timun

This is another spicy chilli condiment with shrimp paste adapted from the Malays.
